I came in for a wisdom extraction with a massive fear of the dentist I was so anxious , but as soon as I arrived i was instantly looked after . The receptionist the nurse and the dentist totally looked after me and tried to put my mind at ease, the nurse held my hand throughout the whole procedure and the dentist was so caring , they were so efficient and professional and understood how anxious I was . They all looked after me from start to finish and now I will be attending here from now on and bringing my children too. | |||||||

Enquired about emergency appointment and NHS certificate initially, receptionist had no clue where she works or give any clues about her location i.e. landmarks, which I guess is not essential to the job. I rang up the second time, she hung up on me after hearing my voice. It didn't help that her English was not great and had difficulties understanding basic words but her manners is much worse. | |||||||

Visited for hygenist followed by dentist, both competent and friendly. Had to pay at reception for hygenist before treatment, £48 for cheapest option,up again, but hey ho. Never been asked to pay before treatment anywhere else, but put up with it. What I was not going to put up with was being asked to pay a £20 deposit towards the next hygenist appointment in six months time. I don't miss appointments or have ever failed to pay. I thought this was outrageous. Is it me or is this standard practice nowadays?
