I have been trying to arrange a home visit from a dentist for my 93 year old housebound father. The telephone number given in this site is out of date and simply gives a message to ring 111. I have done that, however, the operator was unable to take my request further as he needed to speak directly to my father in order to assess his requirements. This in itself provides another layer of difficulty. My father is just about deaf and not good in the phone. The process of getting a very elderly man sorted out with an appointment is very difficult. I suspect that this is deliberate in order to try and manage workload.
