I have been a patient in the Park Road Surgery since they opened. The treatment was good with prompt attention to appointment times. However I was very upset at being rejected as a patient following two missed appointments due to ill heath over two years. When I rang to make another appointment I was told sorry we can no loner see you due to missed appointment. This was in line with their policy. What policy?? its not stated on their web site or displayed in the surgery or on the appointment slip. At one time there was a note to say a fee of £25 may be payable. When I question this I was told to look at the website, I have and the policy is not there. I did state that I thought this was slightly unfair given that they cancelled me on a previous appointment only 20 minutes before. No consideration given with this. I have since spoke to several patients about this they are also unaware of this policy. I suggest the practice sends out a note to all patients making them aware of this point. Steve K
