I won't go into all the fun of getting an appointment, etc, as they seemed as poor as my previous NHS Dentist. I advised the practice that I suffer from dental anxiety. My Dentist was male, offered no introduction and was not polite. He gave my teeth a very quick and cursory look, not even bothering to look at the front of my teeth. He took three x-rays in all but I only saw him look at the one x-ray he had reluctantly taken of the tooth I had a problem with - I had to insist there was a problem as he did not think it had one. From the X-Ray the dentist identified an abscess. My options from him were “do nothing”, have an extraction that will leave a hole, or a root canal that he was not willing to do. He also said that the rest of my teeth were fine despite having barely looked at them. He gave me little confidence in him as a dentist or the entire practice. I went for a second opinion at a different practice only to find that I had a dental abscess that I should have been given antibiotics for at the very least by the Polygon practice! I also needed a filling on a tooth that I had been told was fine at the Polygon. At the new practice I registered with my teeth and x-rays were shown to me and discussed clearly, as was my treatment plan. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone based on my experience, especially if they have a tooth infection or dental anxiety.

I'm an extreamly nervous paitient, so choose this dental surgery because they recongnise this. Unfortunately they cancelled my first appointment and then cancelled the second with just 30 minutes notice. I found this quite destressing and have now hopefully found a new dentist that will be more accommodating to paitients. Very diapointed because the previous reviews i read were great.
