I have been with my 19 year old daughter twice recently and both times she has left in tears, she has had a vitamin deficiency all her life and when her braces were removed as a young teen her teeth were extremely damaged, gross caries is what the orthodontist called it, she suffers with massive anxiety and has panic attacks, on her first appointment she explained this to the dentist and also explained she fears being judged, he then went on to judge her and tell her that she damaged her own teeth by drinking fizzy drinks and that the braces had nothing to do with it, she then had a panic attack in the chair and was in floods of tears, he then went on to "tell her off" and said "I should send you away until you can prove to me that you can improve" "If you're not willing to help yourself then I'm not willing to help you"..... safe to say she left the practice in bits, she then went back today for impressions and an xray, again she had a panic attack as he was again very rude, he told her she is not allowed to cry at her next appointment and if she does she will have to leave!!!!!!!!!!! Disgusting man!!
