I was on the verge of developing an abscess. I called the dental practice first thing, the lady which I spoke with was lovely and very accommodating, she initially advised that they did not have any emergency appointments left that day. The receptionist then called me back within 30 minutes and provided me with an appointment that day. The dentist that I saw was not my usual dentist but he was very professional and charming. Thank you to all the team! This mydentist has tried to upsell two of my family members. This includes my elderly father-in-law, it's not even that the treatment offered was for something not available on the NHS, they were both during an NHS check-up, told what needed doing and then asked if they wanted it doing private for the exact same work and one would cost over five times the NHS price. Mmmmmm ok, let me have a think about that one..... nah you're ok thanks. This is very poor practice, please don't come back with a reply of how you have to give your patients every option please mydentist as it was for nothing other than for something that is available on the NHS and one has and one will soon be completed on the NHS. |
