Seen as NHS patient and required 5 fillings. Made 2 appointments a week apart but had to phone and cancel (with several days notice) as I had COVID. Phoned up to reschedule (after paying for all 5 fillings in advance) to be told I’ve been taken off the patient list due to missing appointments. Explained the circumstances and was told they have “no availability” indefinitely to treat me. There is no other NHS dentist in the area and im now facing a bill of hundreds of pounds by having to go private. The dentist and receptionist were extremely inflexible, patronising and rude. I left the call in tears and have never been spoken to in this manner by a healthcare provider. It seems as they are NHS they can pick and choose who to treat and provide an extremely poor service. Im disgusted.
