Attended on emergency basis. Dentist spent virtually whole appointment arguing pointlessly about treatment needed. Then falsely accused me of being aggressive and refused me treatment. Finally senior owner partner called in and agreed that I should be treated. When he had gone, dentist said only had time to do one very quick filling without anesthetic without cleaning out infected tooth material, thus sealing in the infection under a temp. filling, (which treatment I refused,) but doing nothing for the main pain-causing tooth which needed to be filled which was the purpose of my appointment.

The number of times this surgery has cancelled my appointment minutes before the appointment is appalling. During my time here, out of about the 8 appointments I have had here, this has happened around 4 times. I think its very inconsiderate when taking into account that patients also have work and often need to take time out of work to attend these appointments. The premium charged to attend weekend or evening appointments is discriminatory. If your going to constantly cancel weekday appointments which employees took time out of work to attend, then you ought to provide weekend and evening appointments without extra charge. Otherwise, you should provide compensation for cancelling so many appointments at such short notice, baring in mind when it is the surgeries policy to ban and charge patients if they fail to make appointments.
