The hygenist was professional and polite. The cost of treatment had increased significantly with no prior notification. I would have appreciated automated notification or a letter. The receptionist requires training on managing potential conflict as she was unable to respond politely or helpfully to another patient when challenged. She persisted in blaming the patient of a personal attack and accused him of being rude and upsetting her. As a bystander this was unprofessional and unhelpful. The other patient was definately unhappy but not rude, agressive or impolite. I think the verification of health and lifestyle questions could be just that, a verification and not typed in from scratch every time so a few more mintes can be spent on my teeth.
