They did exactly the same to me. I received an e mail stating:  Unfortunately we need to cancel your next Examination appointment on 3rd November. Currently we have restricted capacity on our NHS list, therefore we are unable to re-book the appointment for you. Please do not call the practice. We will recall you in the near future. I managed to find a telephone number that worked for them (their main number no longer takes incoming calls) and was advised that there now would not longer be an NHS dentist available. No offer of an alternative appointment, no prior advice they were dropping their NHS commitment and absolutely no commitment to their existing clients and existing bookings. Truly awful customer care.

I received a text telling me that my NHS check up appointment had been cancelled and to ring them to re- arrange. When I rang they then informed me that I would have to pay privately as they no longer did NHS work and this would cost me considerably more. When I complained to the receptionist the response was ‘that is what it is now’. I had not received any communication from them, until I rang, to tell me that they were going to stop their NHS work. They should at least have honoured the NHS appointments that were already made and people have waited so long for (They changed from doing 6 monthly appointments to 12 monthly). I will be going Privately for my dental care, as there is little if any other options around here …… but I most certainly will not be using Tetbury Dental Practice.
