Today my sister has an appointment to see a Dentist due to her pain. The first impression was terrible, we walk in and he asked why we were there and what we want. Not a good start, he was not interested in whether his patient have pain or how long it continued. After an examination which last for 1 min, he did an X-ray, he inset the metal into her mouth so hard she have pain. After the X-ray, he say what’s the problem, and was expected us to leave. I did ask him on behalf, my sister, if we can get some report or any idea what treatment he suggested for my sister, his answer was he did not have time and needed to see another patient, I try explain to him we need to have something for our record or if we see another private dentist because this appointment is private not cover by NHS, the dentist said he wouldn’t give us anything because that means we waste his time, I did mention to him I have been seen myself in this surgery and the always given me report or suggestions what is good for me, then finally he said he can do it. I asked my sister to stay and I walked to the receptionist to report the Dentist behaviour forward to us, so unprofessional, did ask her if i could have the Dentist name and she say to me I do not advise you to give us bad feedback on our website, the receptionist is not here to say patient what to do or don’t do that was very unprofessional. I did say to the Dentist never to judge a book by cover always look first at what is said and then make your judgment. That is my advice. I’ve never seen such bad behaviour to the patient, my sister is really scared of the Dentist and it takes me two weeks to convince to see the Dentist. Is sad because normally I have good experiences with all the Dentists, polite, and good communication skills. My advice to people, still visited this surgery 99% of the dentists are excellent with a really good experience. Just not the dentist we have seen.
