Rang the suggested number only to be told it cannot connect the call. whats the point in having a 24 hour service. If you cannot speak to anyone.

I called the emergency dentist to book an appointment for my son who was suffering from an acute toothache. He is currently taking GCSEs and had an exam tomorrow morning, hence the need to deal with today. Initially the service holds promise, made the call, explained the issue and got a call back for an appointment. Non in Exeter but Newton Abbot had space. We arrived on ti e and were booked in. A few forms and within 15 mins were seen. Then the service stopped. They don't do temporary fillings (my son has a small hole in the back of his tooth) so they washed it out (at great discomfort to my son) and then pasted a temporary varnish over the hole which may last 12 to 24 hours). This has provided no relief and only confirmed what we already knew and also means that ghere is no chance of it being fixed before his exam in the morning. I'm glad he is young enough that we were not asked to pay but I am sure they (BUPA) will bill thd NHS for the service which was a joke in terms of satisfaction and service offered.
