Aug 9 2019 My father was admitted here after 2 previous care homes could not cope due to multiple falls. The staff are so so kind and responsive, and really on top of the job. They identified needs my father had that the other places missed. Attention to detail is second to none. The environment is clean fresh and cheerful I haven't eaten here but the food looks and smells very appealing.

May 1 2019 Fantastic, dedicated staff, low use of agency staff, good food - my underweight mother gained weight and started eating independently again - small unit ideal for frail and vulnerable residents. Yes, clothes get lost, yes it's irritating, but laundry staff do try to keep track; home is immaculately clean. Think the care staff should be getting more of the considerable fees as they are the absolute backbone of the home. Outside space is lacking and it's a bit isolated at the moment although when the new housing estate is completed opposite that will provide somewhere to go. All round, yes, I would recommend.

Mar 29 2019 My 90 year old father was at Vida Grange in 2017. The reason it has taken me so long to write a review is because I didn't know the full extent of the dreadful care he was given. I live in Canada so obviously wasn't having constant contact. My brother and sisters spoke to management time and time again, all they were interested in was the money. Before flying back to canada the first time, I bought my dad new clothes, all of which were labelled and yet still managed to be lost. He was abused daily by other residents coming in his room, one of which would hit him with a hairbrush!, He ended up having to be locked in his room for safety! One day during the drugs round, the drug trolley was left wide open with the keys in while the nurse went to see another resident and was gone for some time! The food (the gourmet food!) was a joke, you wouldn't feed a dog with it. We have photographs of everything, they are very lucky we didn't take the matter further! After many complaints that got us nowhere and a very unhappy, unsafe father we moved him to a place that is absolutely wonderful He is loved and very well taken care of and above all....very happy! Poles apart from this dreadful place. They were happy to take his money though!
