Aldergrove Manor Nursing Home

I initially gave aldergrove a 5 star rating due to management being pleasant & informative. I still agree the home is clean & nice and the staff that care for your loved ones are brilliant however the management are not what they seem. My father was on a step down and within 6 days of being at aldergrove went to hospital whith what turned out to be a bleed on the brain. He made a remarkable recovery within 7 days, when hospital called to inform Aldergrove, the Management point blank refused to have him returned and did not even do an assessment. What is worse, the management did not inform us the family. The hospital told us . When confronting them, they did offer an apology. Too late. Select , the company who own this was very sympathetic and offered to do an assessment and expressed how sorry they were for this behaviour. I refused as I'm in process of getting somewhere else, where I can rely on management to keep me informed.
