Sep 3 2021 Cherry lodge looked after our dad, he was so well looked after, kept lovely & clean well fed but most of all care staff reassured him constantly, fabulous carers & the manager as only been there a matter of weeks, what a lovely lady,we has a family when not visiting phoned constantly & they always had time to talk to us why they was so busy looking after their residents, can’t thank them enough,??

Sep 3 2021 Fabulous staff looked after our dad, new manager was brilliant put us totally at ease, dad was always clean & well fed, staff took him into garden where it’s his happy place, we phoned constantly as dad has dementia and was always confused, they always had time to talk to us and put our minds at ease, could do with a refurb but honestly care comes first & that’s what the lovely staff gave my dad, thank you so much cherry lodge ????

Dec 13 2017 How on earth are these still operating.latest of 3 cqc reports is disgusting like the previous 2.Laundry is a joke decrepid old equiptment that continually broken down and patched up.Sluice washes and decent detergent not always done or available.Owners do not care at all.Lots of corners being cut.Managers come and go from the other homes ran by company.They are rude and totally unsympathetic to say the least.Some of the care staff leave alot to be desired.Food is awful.Never had a proper home made chips or roast potatoes.Not always choices available for the resident either.Issues with maintenance and building that are patched up.Until that goes wrong again.The home is cleaner but still issues like using vinegar to try and mask bad odours or the use of products that have been supplied by owners which are do not have english instructions.3 years the home been open not once have any curtains from rooms been taken down and laundered.Not adhering to regulations of social care act or compliance.This used to be a great home when ran by the council.But since reopened has a bad reputation.Complaints not dealt with and paperwork conveniently disappears.New manager seems ok but how long will this last for?The residents are not priority still.What on earth is going to happen to change this.But we are ignored even by the cqc.As for employment rights are totally ignored
