Pirton Grange Specialist Services

Pirton Grange provides care and support for adults with an acquired brain injury resulting from accident or disease. We also provide support for neurodisability conditions such as Huntington&s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson&s disease. We offer care and support for people who have experienced an infection, bleed or clot in the brain, which has resulted in a stroke.

At Pirton Grange we support people through structured rehabilitation programmes. Following admission, we provide a comprehensive assessment process to identify each person&s goals and needs.

Following this assessment, we work with the individual, their family and a wider support network to create a personalised care programme which focuses on their progression through the care pathway.

Rehabilitation is tailored to the needs of the individual and includes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, guided leisure time, vocational training and sessions to develop independent living skills. Our extended and longer term care is designed for adults with long-term nursing requirements that have arisen from neurological impairment.Pirton Grange offers an extensive programme of leisure and recreational activities, specifically tailored to meet individuals& needs and wishes. Most of our activities tend to be in either one-to-one or small groups and involve painting, making cards, shopping and fishing. We have two minibuses, which allow plenty of trips out including weekly visits to the hydrotherapy pool in Malvern, pub meals and Bristol Zoo.

We have a monthly church service held at Pirton Grange by the local vicar with imaginative and interesting content. We also hold our annual fete, Halloween and Christmas Parties.Meal times are an important part of the day at Pirton Grange. Our experienced catering staff prepare a varied menu of fresh home cooked food every day and we cater for individual likes and dislikes from a cultural, religious or choice perspective.
