Feb 7 2016 My family member has resided here for a few years, there have been ups and downs and I have often felt unhappy with standard of care and cleanliness ( odours especially! ) Imust say that in the last month I have noted a vast improvement in care and hygiene, also in privacy and dignity , the strong smell of urine as you entered the building has now gone and staff wre very attentive and treat myself and my family member with dignity and respect, well done to all the staff and keep up the good work, all the people who live with you and their families will be very grateful for your hard work x
Original Comment Report...Croft House Care HomeBy: Luddite67 Rating:.. Oct 16 2015 I phoned Croft House to enquire about a place for my father who needed EMI nursing care. The person who I spoke to told me they would ring me on Monday to arrange for me to visit. No phone call was received. I visited on the Tuesday after Dad's assessment had been e-mailed to Croft House the person who I had spoken to on the previous Friday could not confirm receipt of the assessment said that they had a waiting list and could only consider Dad if he would not disturb the dynamic of the current residents. Over a week later no one from Croft House had contacted my social worker to agree to my Dad's placement. When the management eventually phone me to say they wouldn't give Dad a place.This was based on paper work rather than actually visiting my Dad and speaking to him. Luckily we had already started making alternative arrangements and have now secured a place with a provider who was actually bothered to make the effort to meet Dad.

Oct 12 2014 Our brother was admitted to Croft House Care Home and received only the best of care. He received respect, dignity and excellent care. We cannot thank the staff enough for what they did for our brother in his last days. Your staff are to be commended. Thank You to you all from the bottom of my heart. The only regret we have is that we could not get him to Croft House sooner.
