my friend and her family were always very happy with the care provided and more importantly there relative was very happy living there.
the home could of with some more redecoration but they are working on this and it takes time. I would recommended this home. I know my relative didn't stay but I'm close with my friend and here family, I visited with them. |

My relative spent a few months in chaplin lodge and during that time had several falls and injuries had to be taken to hospital this was in the dementia wing we had to take them out as the care was atrocious the food was good and a few of the staff were good please read the latest cqc report for this home and make sure you look around before making any decisions on leaving your loved ones in their care Reply from Chaplin Lodge Thu, 16 Nov 2017 10:16:42 Z We are sorry that your experience didn’t match up to that of our other residents. We usually receive very positive reviews about the home, that said, we take anyone’s feedback extremely seriously and see it as an opportunity to improve wherever possible. My mum spent some time in this home, during that time the care was amazing, staff are kind and compassionate and nothing is too much trouble. The manager is just wonderful and is never to busy to spend time with you no matter how busy they are. During my mums end of her life, the manager even came back into the home to sit with my mum and support staff and us at what was an extremely distressing time, I can't thank everyone enough. |
