Thornfield Care Home Lymington

As a family we cannot find any fault whatsoever and cannot praise highly enough the care and attention that is provided.

My dad has been at Thornfields since April this year, and he has settled in very well, thanks to the lovely caring and kind people who work there. It wasn't an easy decision to place him in a care home, but my mum, myself and our family were finding it increasingly difficult to care for my dad's complex needs at home. The management and the care team at Thornfields have all been truly wonderful, professional and kind, making my dad's transition into a fulltime care home a less painful experience. They look after my dad so well, and always make us feel very welcome when we visit, with cups of tea and biscuits, and understanding my dad's needs. Thornfields has a warm, comfortable and homely atmosphere, with a beautiful mature garden to sit or wander through with my dad, quiet and calming. I highly recommend this home to anyone who is reading this and are finding themselves in our position.

My mother in law has lived at Thornfield care home now for almost two and a half years, she has blossomed with the care and love she receives from all of the staff. This is down to the owners and their wonderful team, who are fully aware of her needs and support her and us through any changes. My mother in law feels very much looked after and supported. The smile in her heart has returned which is so lovely to see, we know that this is because of the environment she is in.
