Pinewood Nursing Home

The staff at this home are absolutely fabulous with our relative and could not be kinder no matter how she behaves with them. The room is adequate although small but our relative loves it. My only criticism would be that as a diabetic the diet is often surprising and there doesnt appear to be a system where all the staff know what that diet should be. Maybe a visible band for staff to see at a glance and some staff training in this area would be helpful. Everything else runs smoothly though with plenty of activities for the residents and a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Pinewood provides wonderful care for my 93year old grandmother. She has been living there for over 2 years and receives excellent nursing care. She has formed lovely relationships with the staff and other residents. She especially loves the food and very appreciative to be able to have all her Favourite dishes.

My elderley Aunt 101 years old after independant living went to live at Pinewood almost a year ago. She was wasnt very well and obviously unhappy to leave her home. It didnt take very long before she was settled and despite the covid upsets with visiting restrictions she is safe and well and enjoying the care and attention of a lovely team. The Manager and Deputy are always so helpful to her and me and always find time to give us both tlc that we need.
