Care Home Information |
Ashby House is set in a quiet corner of Milton Keynes but is only a short drive from many of the famous landmarks of the city. These include Milton Keynes shopping centre, the theatre district, Milton Keynes General Hospital and Stadium MK, home to the MK Dons. The home is situated close to the A428, 5 miles drive from junction 14 of the M1. Ashby House offers the flexibility of day care, respite care for short breaks and permanent care for those who can no longer live at home. We have a Memory Lane community specialising in the care of residents who have a dementia type illness and a residential / nursing community. We are very excited to have made some major changes to our Memory Lane Community. We have created two smaller units, allowing residents at different stages of their dementia journey to live together in a more homely and cosy environment. We have added a life skills kitchen to enable residents to participate in some basic cooking and meaningful tasks such as washing and drying up. We have a varied and exciting social calendar and are always ready to celebrate any occasion. Our hospitality includes first class dining, with all meals cooked on the premises using locally produced, fresh ingredients. We warmly welcome visitors, so if you'd like to arrange a viewing of the home, or to find out more about the services that we offer at Ashby House, please contact one of our lovely team members who would be delighted to help. We look forward to meeting you. |
