Egerton Lodge Residential Home

Egerton Lodge is a happy and lively home occupying a prime postion in the centre of the pretty market town of Melton Mowbray. Here the residents determine the pattern of their own lives, and are encouraged to mix and make new friends.

The excellent quality of care at Egerton Lodge is due to our high staffing levels and an on-going programme of training. Our care assistants, under the supervision of the care manager, are on hand 24 hours a day.

The bedrooms all have an en-suite WC with wash-hand basin, and television and telephone sockets. They are newly decorated in attractive colour schemes with co-ordinated bedlinen. There are nurse call buttons in every bedroom and every en-suite, so that help is always available. Residents have a choice of lounges overlooking the park, or the& elegant main street. There are pleasant gardens and terraces for sitting out on sunny days.

Indepndently owned by a family run company, Egerton Lodge offers a safe, homely and caring environment where help is on hand at any time of day or night, and visitors are always welcome.

Our dedicated activities team have time to spend with residents playing cards, board games, skittles, letter writing, taking them to the shops or just chatting.

Those who wish to can also take part in specially designed exercise routines.

Outings are organised on a regular basis and are open to all residents. We also have many events taking place at the home such as summer jazz barbeques, tea dances, fireworks parties and the annual Christmas party
