Ranelagh House

Ranelagh House is registered for 26 elderly people and we are pleased to welcome residents for long-term and respite care. We also have places for day or overnight care.

We have two comfortable lounges and our dining room overlooks beautifully maintained gardens to which residents have access when weather conditions permit.

Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and most have en suite facilities. There is a lift plus a stair lift providing access to the first floor for residents who are unable to use the stairs.

A small kitchen is located on the first floor for residents and relatives who may wish to prepare their own drinks or simple snacks. Main meals are prepared on the premises and served in the dining room or in the residents own room if preferred.

Ranelagh House is located close to a range of amenities with a variety of shops close by and easy access to local transport facilities, benefitting friends and relatives of residents and also those residents who are able and wish to access amenities outside of the home.

For the convenience and well-being of our residents, we also have regular visits from a hairdresser and chiropodist.

Our over-riding objective is to provide consistently high quality care in a homely environment focussing on the physical, mental, social and personal needs of individual residents.

All staff at Ranelagh House are committed to ensuring the dignity, individuality and privacy of each and every resident is maintained and respected. We will be responsive to the changing needs of our residents including medical, physical and social needs. These are reflected in the individual care planning process together with the involvement of the resident and their family.
