Hallgarth Care Home

Hallgarth Care Home is a warm and welcoming& purpose built, three storey care home& located in the historic& city of Durham. The home provides both permanent and respite stays for& residential care,& nursing care and palliative care for up to 60 residents. Hallgarth prides itself on being an established part of the local community and has a fantastic programme of daily activities with something to suit every taste.& With church services in the home, exercise classes and trips out to the Metro Centre there is an activity to suit everyone.

Each individual bedroom features an en-suite, telephone point and television point. Residents are greatly encouraged to personalise their own room as much as possible to make it feel homely.

Hallgarth has its own bar area, quiet lounges, TV lounges and conservatory. There are 2 dining rooms where home cooked meals are served catering for all nutritional needs.

There are regular visits from GPs, dentists, chiropodists, opticians and a hairdresser.

There are several bathrooms and shower rooms throughout the home and toilets are generously located on each floor making them easily accessible.
