Dec 10 2013 The quality of the food has dramatically gone down after being taken over by Sanctuary. They allow just over 2 pounds per person per day for 3 meals! (this was confirmed by one of their directors). They are under staffed, have low staff moral, and the management care nothing other than their balance sheets (they will say they are a none profit making organisation ha ha). I have had the misfortune of having a relative here and as soon as the dementia progressed (which unfortunately it does) they wanted him out, and I quote "now"!. Their management are aggressive and will think nothing of telling you that you care nothing for your relative in meetings with them. Our Social Service worker thought that their attitude towards the family was insensitive and horrendous! Unless your relative is fit and healthy and they can just be sat down and left to their own devices, please do not even think about this place. Take it from me they are heartless, uncaring and you only have to read the CQC reports to make up your own mind.
