Located just to the south of Sevenoaks in the Weald of Kent, Kippington care home has been providing residential and nursing care of the highest standard to the surrounding area for nearly 60 years. This beautiful Victorian building was first converted into a care home in the early 1950s and now provides nursing care for up to 52 elderly residents.
Kippington Care Home
The current building dates from 1874 and was a grand family residence formerly known as Kippington Grange. The building’s predecessor was steeped in history, reputedly playing host to Jane Austen in the early 19th century and Thomas Farnaby, scholar and follower of Sir Francis Drake in the 17th century. Today’s residents enjoy the benefits of a substantial investment programme, which has seen the restoration of a range of period features and all rooms and communal areas exceeding every national care standard for nursing homes.
