Edenbridge War Memorial Hospital

My elderly father was recommended to see a general physician due to a complicated mix of ailments, Parkinson’s Disease being the main one but other issues that were making his life difficult. I fully expected to see a junior person but the appointment was with a professional doctor who specialised in care for the elderly and stroke. He fully understood Dad’s condition and took time to review everything and then explain fully to us. Excellent local service.

We visited the Minor Injuries unit on a Sunday and were very thankful that it was open, which meant that we did not have to go to Aamp;E. All staff were very courteous and helpful and we promptly received the necessary treatment, including antibiotics dispensed there and then. This type of service is so useful in alleviating the pressure on Aamp;E, which can then focus on more serious injuries.

Visited today at around lunchtime.i was booked in by an extremely pleasant lady on reception.asked to wait in the seating area ,and before I had barely sat down I was met by another friendly and efficient lady who showed myself and my wife through to a treatment room where she and a lady colleague took my medical history and various other checks,blood pressure ect. They then very carefully cleaned the wound on my scalp and applied a sterile dressing that is to stay on for five to seven days. I was then given very comprehensive advice about the wound,and what to do if needed. I cannot praise your staff highly enough,All three ladies were friendly,cheerful, and above all ultra caring. Please pass on my thanks to them all,I am sorry I cannot recall their names. 23rd.August 2018 A pleasure to visit even though I would rarther not have had to Thanks again Mr Mick Green
