Lister Hospital

I recently had a c section at the Lister hospital and would 100% recommend my experience there - the kindness and outstanding care provided by all of the staff who looked after me was second to none. From the midwives in Dacre Ward, to the anaesthetist who took so much time to discuss womens concerns with them, to the amazing team in theatre who did so much to put me at ease and make the experience less scary. Then the lovely midwives and nurses who looked after me and my baby while in recovery before I was transferred to the Gloucester Ward. The standard of care from every single member of staff I met was exceptional - especially the midwives and nursery nurses who did so much to make me and my daughter comfortable, helping me establish breastfeeding, settling baby so I could get some rest and making the whole experience such a good one - something people rarely say about any postnatal wards!! I was lucky enough to be able to go home after 24 hours and I believe a lot of this was down to the excellent immediate care I received and of course the high quality of the surgery and operation itself. Thank you to everyone at the Lister for ensuring that me and my daughters first few days together were such a positive experience, hugely down to the professionalism, warmth, empathy and friendliness of all the staff.

Ive been attending The Lister Hospital for many years now under the care of the Urology Team amp; the Pain Nurses Team amp; I must say that my Consultant amp; his team have been absolutely understanding amp; brilliant towards my needs amp; disability. Im also extremely grateful that theyve allowed me to have extra care amp; support from the Pain Nurses team to help control my pain. Theyve all gone amp; above amp; beyond for me amp; Ill be forever in debt to them all. Im now (hopefully) coming towards the end of needing their consent care after 5 years (Urology Team amp; 8 years (Pain Nurses Team) amp; without them I would be totally lost amp; still struggling so THANK YOU very much for everything amp; Ill never forget any of them.... Can this please be passed onto the Urology Team amp; The Pain Nurses Team.

I visited the endoscopy department today as a outpatient and can honestly say from the moment I stepped into the department to the time I was discharged was a very pleasant experience, .staff so friendly and the after care in the recovery section was above and beyond what I was expecting , well done all .
