My daughter was admitted age 9 with long standing abdominal pain , no diagnosis was given and we had to wait a further 2 years for her to be diagnosed with Hypermobility syndrome etc ... and a family history of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome . Fortunately Alderhey were much more helpful and she got Physio and hydro , but above all , she was believed! Our experience at this hospital has left me emotionally scarred .
