My great neice had a bad sprain . We rang minor injuries and were told to brinq her in. When we arrived we were told there was no point in her staying as there was no x ray and she should come back in the morning, when she could have an X ray. We were also told that in the morning we should ring 111 and make an x ray appointment. We rang111as instructed to be told they could not make this appointment. We went back to the hospital only to be told she should have been triaged at the previous visit and could then have had an X Ray appointment at this visit, We then waited, my niece was offered pain killers but was not seen. All this could have been avoided if proper information had been available, The point I would like to make is that though everyone meant well proper systems of communication are not in place and staff are not well informed.

I am really sorry to read that communication with you was poor.
