Having rung 111 (on Saturday 19/6)/for an appointment for a serious eye injury and got an appointment (four hours later) at Bodmin Minor Injuries when I sent at around 16.30 they refused to see me. They told me they were closing and I’d have to go to St Austell. Liskeard or New Quay. I asked if I could discuss this with my wife (who was outside in the car) the receptionist replied “if you go out you don’t get back in”. In addition a senior nurse joined the conversation and said “ is he leaving ? Good!” I would like to know why they closed early and why were they so rude !. In addition if there was some kind of emergency did it require ALL of the minor injuries nurses to attend. I saw nurses and none of them seemed to be rushing off to any kind of emergency
