The Christie main site

Im both an out patient and occasionally in patient. Im finding the vast space between each department and absolute drag. Theres nowhere to rest when having to walk miles to each department, having good to get to the main reception to request a porter to take me there in a trolley. Id like to be provided with more independent form of transport around the building which should be provided by the hospital seeing how many patients have trouble walking . Id also like to complain about the brass band I have to sit and endure whilst waiting for treatment in the large waiting area. I find this so inappropriate, I cant hear myrself think and when the unit rings me to tell me where to go in cant hear what theyre saying . Why dont they play outside where itll be quieter its ridiculous , patients dont seem to have a had a say in this matter some of us find it unbearable whilst were ill. These issues ruin my whole day of regular visits to Christies to a point of dread. It shouldnt be like this they need to consider people .
