I had a shocking experience of Nwando Domiciliary care and I would never recommend them to the public. My father had multiple health problems, including chronic kidney disease, stroke, immobility, heart failure and prostrate issues. My mother lived with brain cancer for 26 months. I raised 10 issues to Haringey council and to the CQC from February 2020 onwards, shortly after Nwando care had been inspected. At this time, I was raising safeguarding concerns to the Officer of the public guardian and the Court of Protection regarding financial abuse, by my sister Monica Horner. Monica made every attempt to stop me from seeing and speaking to my mother because she was petrified I would conduct a mental capacity assessment on my mother and that she would be accountable for her actions. On the 12th February 20 (1 day after Dad’s death), Robert (my brother) heard Monica promising Nwando care a new care package deal for Mum. Previously, Dad’s care provision contract was worth £2,000 per week. My mother ended up paying a whopping and very irregular sum of £4,000 per week for very ordinary care 24 hours care. On Fri 19th Feb 21, Theodora (a carer from Nwando care) told my cousin that I was meddling with my father’s medication in the run up to his death. This was 2 days after my father's death. This was a slanderous comment made by Theodora who made no report to the police and no investigation into Theodora’s conduct, was carried out by Nwando care. On 31st March 21, Andrea Dirwau (a previous carer) told my Aunty Wahida that my last conversation with Mum, left her stressed, crying and depressed. I disproved this by playing 2 recorded conversations back to my aunty. I believe Andrea was being incentivised by Monica to find reasons why I should not see my dying mother. On the 5th April 21, Andrea Dirwau joined in group intimidation incited by Monica and Chris Horner and forced me to have Andrea as a carer in our home, when I did not trust her motives. 8th April cad/35 |
