Home Care Information
Kent Enablement at Home is managed by Kent County Council and provides short term care and support for adults in their own homes, for up to three weeks, with the option of extending to a maximum of 6 weeks. It has been designed for people who need support to regain their independence after a medical or social crisis. This includes people who have been discharged from hospital following an emergency, such as a fracture or a stroke.

Feb 20 2014 We 'used' the package of care offered to us after my husband was very disabled following an operation and while I was still suffering from the effects of being run down by a Land Rover and somewhat helpless myself. The package was for my husband but the lovely carers who came night and morning frequently asked if there was anything they could do for me as well. Every one of them were truly caring, considerate and friendly and it was a pleasure to have them visit, even when we reached the stage, in the last days of our 3 weeks, where we were able to cope, albeit slowly, on our own. Thank you so much for the training which must go into placing all these lovely people. I would certainly not hesitate to recommend Kent Enablement at Home.
