I would have to say that the care my mother had on reablement service was second to none and we thought the girls who visited were lovely and helped mum get back into her usual self.
After the input from Premier my mum is now at home without any help which is what she wanted.
Thank you to all the staff who visited and gave my mum her wish. |

very poor service down to bad management, most of the carers seem decent but not given proper training, are continually being harried to move on ignoring the scheduled times in the care plan.Seem to have no idea of how to prepare timetables. Continuous chopping and changing of carers, most frustrating any requests or complaints are completely ignored, all the right things said but no action taken.Seem to regard elderly people as a unit to be processed rather than human beings. |

The service at the best of times is sporadic. the carers are always changing which is uncomforatable for my Mum who is 91yrs old and has dementia. The carers do their best but are given unrealistic timetables and so are always late. When they do arrive they have very little time to spend with my Mum and are in and out as soon as possible. Last night my Mum had her dinner at 7.30pm. When I called to ask why I was told that this was not a priority at the moment. Tonight it is already7pm and the carer has not arrived yet, My Mum has already gone to bed and when the carer arrives will probably not eat her dinner because of the late hour. This is something that happens often but, most of all at the weekend. I have complained about this many times and have been told that it will be looked into. It seems to me that this is all that is done as nothing changes. Premier seems to have taken on more than it can handle and so the clients like my Mother suffer. When I come home for a visit, which is every month my Mum has lost a significant amount of weight For me this is all down to Premiers lack of care. The people who are in charge of the timetables don't seem to have a clue and so any good carers leave as soon as they can for a better job |
