It's so bad that there is no point calling at all. It takes forever to get through on the phone and unless you are dying you won't be seen and I wouldn't count on it even then. I dont bother any more and just go to the walk in centre. | ||||||

I cannot find the words to adequately describe this health Centre. As it is NOT a health centre at all, as explained in a previous review. You really MUST make sure you are ill 4/5 weeks in advance.??? ?? I managed to actually see a lovely doctor, only because I sent correspondence to the practice manager. Saw a lovely Iranian newly qualified doctor, who after diagnosing my chest infection , assured me that if I needed to talk to her, I was to let receptionist know that I needed to speak to her and she would call me at the first opportunity, even if it was in her lunch break. So my fingers have turned purple and I tried to get hold of the doctor…. Still waiting for past 28 hours and no hope as this non existent surgery is NOT open over the weekend! ?? | ||||||

Having only moved to this area, I was delighted to be actually living so near the Health Centre. I had tried to get an appointment as I have been ill since 23rd December. I tried to get an appointment because I thought I had a chest infection. I was told by receptionist that the earliest appointment was in 4/5 weeks! Now am I being a pain? Since when have you got to make a doctors appointment that far ahead?? “ excuse me please can I see a doctor urgently, as I think I’m going to be ill in 5 weeks time. I may be seriously ill! Or I may even be dead by then!?? I complained and received a call from a lovely doctor. Offering me an appointment. So I accepted and went to see her….and guess what? I have a chest infection ?? so I would have been gravely ill by the time 3rd April came or worse. This surgery MUST get their act together and give appointments to people in need of immediate care. The 4/5 seekers are for such things as asthma checks, bunion removals and the like. Get your act together Roundwell, or you will be left with very few to care for. If it were not for that lovely Iranian doctor, I was about to register with a more sympathetic surgery. I am sitting on the fence atm, and still in two minds about the best route to go. I am 73 and disabled and cannot stand for long periods of time. I have a complicated medical history. Lady on reception told me if I was desperate to see a doctor I could stand in a queue at 7.30 am, but not on Monday or Wednesday as they are their busy days…. SORRY??? Erm…. NO. | ||||||
