Having tried to get treatment for a crown for over the last 2 months, Today was the final insult . After being promised that my final treatment for this procedure would take place on the 08/12/2016. I arrived in good time to be told that they tried to contact me earlier in the day, but the crown would not be ready for at least another week. My Partner who needed to take time off work to take me, was told he could not attend this surgery because he missed an appointment. These hypocrites state 24 hours notice is required , but can cancel at 15 minutes notice. stating they phoned to try to avoid us attending. on checking my answer machine no attempt made. | ||||||

I joined this surgery in 2007,having moved back to Sheffield after years away. I can honestly say there has only been 1 issue I can remember when I felt let down. It was about an appointment I had to rearrange for a smear test and the receptionist lacked understanding that due to irregular menstrual cycle I could not attend the appointment i'd made. I asked for a further appointment only to be quite rudely told that the next one was 6 weeks away,when I tried to explain that i'd need to call when my cycle had finished with the hope i'd have the smear then. I was told it was not possible just to call and have co appointment at the click of a finger! I was made to feel like I was expecting special treatment when all I wanted was understanding. I was disappointed that I was not passed on to at least talk to the practice nurse to try and get the smear done. Overall I find the whole practice brilliant,infact when I moved out of the area I checked that I could still be registered and luckly I was just within the boundary. Having a good GP is essential and my family are blessed with a really good one. Thumbs up to all at the practice. | ||||||
