This practice used to be outstanding, the staff are lovely both on reception as are the health professionals. The issue at this practice is actually being able to get an appointment for anything they don't classify as urgent ENOUGH, if you fall in this category it is a struggle to get an appointment. Although other practices offer pre bookables for this type of appointment and thus avoid trapping patients in a never ending cycle of the need to ring twice daily for an appointment yet still be able to fail to secure an appointment and in my case its been two weeks and counting this practice does not yet know when they will return to such a service so for anything they classify as NOT urgent ENOUGH you can easily find yourself trapped in their system of having to ring twice daily until one day you might get lucky and might get an appointment, as with lotteries sometimes you are lucky and will in this case secure an appointment yet sometimes you aren't lucky and will in this case like me fail to secure an appointment two weeks and counting. | ||||||

There used to be a really good doctor here until she retired and I’m sure lots of her patients miss her. Since then several other doctors have left, I’m not quite sure what is going on but if I need an appointment for a medical problem, I am not impressed if I have to wait until September for pre bookables or travel to other parts of Nottingham for an evening appointment. It isn’t ideal for my circumstances at all. If I can’t get a same day appointment on the phone, (all appointments gone by the time I can get through!) and I’m being offered appointments at other surgery’s then I feel there’s little point staying here anyway. So lucky for us, we moved house two years ago and we have all moved to what looks like a fantastic surgery with twice as many Doctors and pre-bookable appointments are now once again available to us. I hope they are not taking on new patients at the minute because they are struggling to give appointments to the patients they have. I’d advise against joining this surgery until they have sorted out their management and hired more doctors. | ||||||
