I have terminal cancer. I asked for some strong pain relief, which the doctor issued but didn't sign it. I'm now in complete agony and can't do anything until Monday Absolutely pathetic service I wouldn't take my dog here if it was in pain. I will be making a complaint and the gp in question imho needs retraining. USELESS SERVICE. | ||||||

Certain members of staff at the surgery are ok but that's about all I can say that's good. The issues begin with lack of basic care and compassion from receptionist and they seem to lack the very basic communication skills needed for the role. One of the main issues with the surgery is lack of medical professionals as there seems to be an array of receptionist but some days no doctors at all. Doctors come and go and so it's hard to actually follow up with appointments and when you ring in the morning and ask to see a doctor, you get booked in with a nurse. Admittedly she is qualified to prescribe certain medicines but is unable to refer you on for treatment without doctors approval and with lack of drs, referrals are impossible. The surgery must be underfunded as the is lack of basic healthcare services. It took me over 7 months to get my first smear as there were no nurses at all. This is a risk to patients lives and fortunately I am well but I hate to think of how those with chronic and metabolic disease are treated. As a medical student I know it's only obvious that those at this surgery have been left without adequate care and treatment due to the lack of staff, appointments and services here. I understand staff try and make things better but when ringing the surgery for results after work, I want to speak to a trained member of staff and not the domestic staff. I once had a cleaner there telling me my stool sample results, this has got to be a breach of patient confidentiality. | ||||||

Absolutely disgusting
You can never get through at 8 o’clock in the morning and when you finally get through there’s no appointments, you ask for a sick note and it takes over a week and half for it to be done
