Just a short note to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at this superb and friendly surgery for all their advice and treatment over the years. Their professionalism, empathy and recent treatment of my wife Marilyn can not be faulted along with the lady consultant she was referred to at the City Hospital. We, along with our two sons have been patients at this surgery continuously since 1976 and feel privileged and fortunate that we were recommended this medical practice all those years ago. This surgery's owner is a psycho and needs treatment- he doesn't respect customer/patients. He doesn't listen to patients and NHS should investigate this further and close down this surgery! | ||||||

The reception staff are fantastic and very helpful. The chief doctor is not. I required a 3 month prescription as I would be away from medical services for that long and my meds are not optional but the doctor initially refused to give more that a month without giving a valid MEDICAL reason why. In the end, after a battle involving getting my CPN and specialist involved he produced a script for 2 months, not three. I think he was try to save face or something. I am afraid the reception staff took the brunt of my frustration but they were simply acting as a go-between with this issue; they did express sympathy with my predicament and may have helped to swing the decision for me. This doctor is not a people person and I would definitely avoid the practice if you want an understanding, and patient centered, clinician. | ||||||
