Keep blocking repeat prescription online service due to muddled record keeping . Reviews for repeat prescription required too frequently ( every two months or so ) Not good enough they should have records of previous reviews | ||||||

I phoned the surgery to Gert results from a blood test,the receptionist said it shown that my blood came back with an abnormal result because my Calsium was too high,I looked all about high calsium on the internet,it said I may have cancer,so I made an online appointment to see a gp who then told me it wasn't my calsium that was high,it was my potassium,surely they should get rid of the very under trained receptionists ,and get some who know what they're on about. Reply from Family Medical Centre - Kirkby Mon, 23 Oct 2017 13:24:07 +0100 Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this, our receptionists are not clinically trained and will only give the information put on screen by the GP, the receptionists should always inform any patient that they are not clinically trained and offer to make an appointment for the patient with an ANP or GP who can explain fully any results, we can only apologise if this was not done for you. | ||||||

I always get the support needed. I have also dealt with GPs professionally, and I should mention that 3 doctors are outstandingly in care provision. Their response is immediate and I could never be cared for by anyone other than these GPs.
The receptionists are so helpful and they will go miles further to ensure patients are getting the help they need.
