All staff are really good but sometimes it's really difficult to get an appointment when it's really needed. Difficult to call to surgery. |

It is not possible to make an appointment with the doctor, saying that I have broken two toes and wanting the doctor to check that everything is ok, I got the information that I only have SC to the hospital. I have no idea why this Krzysiek measure exists, I am going to change health center and doctor. |

I recently had a routine annual appointment at the surgery.
A few days later I received a letter asking me to make an appointment with a g.p. at my convenience. I have tried to use the automated system 5 times to book an appointment.
On three occasions, the automated service cut off after a few seconds. On the other occasions there were no appointments.
I have spoken directly with the Practice manager last month to express my concerns about the ineffective auto appointment system and other issues about the surgery and what I perceive to be failings in the service provided to patients. I was told about the efforts made by the surgery to improve the appointment booking service. I was also told the cleaners sometimes disturb the computer keyboards during the cleaning process and the system goes off line. I suggested the surgery should put measures in place so this does not happen.
The suggestion was greeted with the comment,"the computer keyboards have to be cleaned", followed by mutterings about Health and Safety.
I intend to send a letter back to the surgery explaining I have not been able to make an appointment and suggesting they do so.
This surgery leaves a great deal to be desired, but I hope they can improved the level of service that is provided to the patients. I am not sure if much statistical analysis is undertaken to help improve the service, but I am prepared to give the surgery the benefit of the doubt once again. |
