My wife my self and 19 year old son have been with winster surgery all our lives, During the summer my son left home to join the army, On a two week leave he contracted tonsillitis, contracted the surgery no help at all as he's registered with the military, even when the NHS says any British citizen will be seen whether registered or not...A VERY POOR OUTCOME FROM WINSTER SURGERY!! | ||||||

Having recently moved from an area 8 miles south of Manchester where the population is considerably larger in comparison my medical centre visits in Winster have never been as surprisingly satisfying as now, the staff are courteous, efficient and caring. The doctors professional, young and good looking! The appointments are like Swiss trains they arrive on time. A 15 year problem was completely cured in 3 months, a false diagnosis that has caused me stress for over 10 years was clarified, discussed and a new course of action taken within 3 weeks including x rays and return appointments. I arrived 10 minutes early for one appointment and found myself leaving complete with prescription five minutes after appointment was due to commence! (Winster has it's own pharmacy, I arrived for one appointment and the repeat prescription was already ready for collection). Amazing and yet the government propose making cuts in all areas. I say if its not broken don't mend it! The NHS at Winster Medical Centre/Darley Dale is fantastic. | ||||||

I am fortunate in that I am currently in good health. However whenever I have needed to see a doctor I have always been able to and have consistently had good advice and/or treatment. My husband has had a number of health problems in recent years and has had excellent treatment, with referrals to specialists and consistent, thorough monitoring of his conditions. The date given below of the last GP visit was to accompany my husband. | ||||||
