The on line appointment system is no good either. I went on last week and there were no appointments for 2 weeks and even after that there are limited doctors. However if you look on the reception desk it tells you how many people have missed their appointment and I think in October 459 people missed theirs. Surely something can be done about this. There surely must be a pattern to who misses. I also think priority should be given to patients who hardly ever visit the doctor as surely this means they only ask for an appointment when absolutely necessary.

according to jessops journal in the annual flu jab section 2016 it states that patients over 65 or any age with any of the following.( there is no following list of groups, the list of groups is above this statement). it also states that if you are over 65 or fall into one of the catagories above you may be eligible for the flu pneumonia or shingles vaccinations. After falling into 2 of these groups i enquired about having the shingles vaccination and was informed that i did not fall into the appropriate age group as stated by the government, as i am 74 why does your information state that this vaccination is available with no age restrictions after the age of 65 as the government issues clear age restrictions between 70 and 80 Your information leaflet regarding shingles is very misleading and should not be included with the information regarding flu

Difficult to get an appointment, when I finally got an appointment had to wait over 45 minutes. I understand that emergencies can happen but this has happened for the last three appointments. Never get an acknowledgment or an apology. The doctor was very patronising, and I felt disinterested. There is absolutely no continuity of care.
