    I would just like to say a massive thank you to the receptionist that helped sort my elderly mother’s prescription out I really do appreciate it.

    Unable to make a diagnosis, in the absence of which reacted with scorn when I proffered one. horrible uncaring unsympathetic treatment. No help at all.

    I phoned on Tuesday to ask for an urgent appointment, I was told I had to phone back at 8am next morning.. I dialled the number at 7.59am but it said they were closed so I pressed redial 2 times and it was answered saying I was 1st in the Q. When I asked for an appointment I was told all 4 apps were gone, how was that when I was the 1st one on the phone ? Also the law states I do not have to tell the receptionist what is wrong with me, yet I was told I had to if I wanted to see the nurse. That is so wrong.. this surgery used to be not bad now I am afraid I have to say it is worse than useless yet I need to use this one as I am disabled and it is close to home..

    Many thanks for taking the time to comment. I am sorry your experience with the practice has not been satisfactory. In order to try and establish further information I have listened to the first half dozen telephone calls that were taken yesterday and without further information cannot identify your call to investigate the matter further. The practice was incredibly busy yesterday due to this being the day following a bank holiday, however, there were a variety of options available. I agree that you don't need to identify to staff the reason you wish to attend, however, our staff have had undergone additional training and can signpost patients to the most appropriate service for the problem which results in improved access.
