The Leigh Family Practice

I phoned at 8am for 3 days in the hope of getting my wife an appointment to See a doctor on the day, after waiting 27min I was told what I already knew no appointments left for today the earliest being 13th Jan. Which is really pathetic you call this a service, and yes I'm fully aware of our current situation nationally and that everyone is frantically trying to grab that last elusive appointment. We have been with this practice for many years and it's never been as bad as it is currently.

Got a call from family practice for bit of a check up blood pressure check etc Dec 7th 1pm I said that was fine got there at 1 o clock booked in after a while asked what time it was 25 past 1 couple of minutes later nurse came out with a patient went back in another 10 minutes pass went to reception and said tell the nurse I am going i,'ll check my blood pressure at home she said I can book you in next Monday i said what,is wrong with today she said she, is not working this afternoon I just said I am going and at a quarter to 2 I went home absolutely outrageous. You just could ,not make it up

Tried for over 2 hours to contact this GP from a Hospital Trust, each time the phone would ring out, then after a while a voicemail message would come on, following this you are told your call will be transferred to the next available operative. The line then repeatedly rings again and once again the answer phone message comes on. How can this surgery have nobody available for over 2 hours to answer the telephone. Not professional and very frustrating and most of all disappointing The reason for the call was for an important matter
