I have been registered at this doctors for over 20 years and have to say now it is really letting me and my family down. My son is just over a year old, receptionist are the rudest I’ve ever spoken to, been told today they can’t fit him in and not to bother calling tomorrow because they won’t see him then either. What more my son had a huge problem with eating and breathing when younger so know his background but yet still unwilling to help, only answer they have is to either waste A&E’s time or go to the chemist and let them diagnose which I do not trust. After calling 111 after their lack of help they have said my son needs to be seen within 6 hours yet they still nothing! With 111 stating to me on the phone ‘is your GP not willing to co-operate?’ Surely a young child should be a high priority! Being new to the area, I had no idea where to go for a local medical practice. I'm so glad I chose Clifton House. On registering I was sent for a full blood test at the hospital on Monday, Tuesday I was called in person by the doctor to inform me I needed further tests, Wednesday the hospital called to say I had an appointment for Thursday to see the consultant. There has also been a follow up appointment to discuss the results. This is how every practice should be run. The staff are very friendly and interested in your wellbeing, so much nicer to deal with than some places I've had to deal with. I would wholeheartedly recommend and support this practice. I would like to thank you for the way you helped recently. We rang as we had a problem whilst on a trip. We had service that went above and beyond what was expected. We were in trouble as we did not have a prescription in London. We were helped and advised about online prescription service .
