On presenting myself at reception at this medical centre for a physio appointment I was greeted by a receptionist just by looking at me. I told her what I was there for she pointed over to an area where a self sign in machine was and told me to sign myself in, this I tried to do but it would not let me unbeknown to me I was using the wrong machine, went back to reception informed her I could not do it to which she rose from her seat begrudgingly came out to me and tried to do it herself by this time I realized I had used the wrong machine I apologised and explained myself and that I had not been there before to which she replied 'it says on the machine ' rather rudely. I then sat down she then came back out and shouted across the waiting room and pointing 'you need to go through that door and go left' as an x receptionist myself this is not how I would have approached a patient she should have either come up to me or asked me to go back to the desk, extremely rude. I rang to speak to someone in management (this was also an unhelpful conversation too telling me I couldn't complain as I wasn't registered there) after I got home who was also as rude and unhelpful using the excuse that the physio dept just use their rooms and I wasn't one of their patients, so does that mean they can be rude to anyone who is not registered there!, I think not, needless to say I did not receive any feed back from her as promised. If this is an example of how the staff there treat people then I think some re training on common courtesy and greeting skills etc need to be put into place. |

Never ever prioritise appointments for under 5’s even in urgent cases. There’s a receptionist who is blatantly rude and always acts as if you’re making her go out of her way to do what she is paid for. Don’t think I’ve ever seen this woman smile. She has no social skills whatsoever. This used to be a lovely surgery a few years back: You can’t get an appointment for love nor money. I think it’s absolutely disgusting that they don’t ensure little ones are seen to. Moving surgeries ASAP. |

This is the last resort to putting my thoughts onto this service as everytime I’ve tried speaking to the Manager of this practice I always get given incorrect information.
There is one particular lady that works at this practice who is rude, patronising and has no people skills. She looks completely bored, uninterested into how she can be of service and will refuse to acknowledge me whenever I’ve come into pick up my prescription. There’s real people that come in with real illness and she is someone that should NOT be at the forefront dealing with patients.
She clearly needs retraining or letting go because people should be an asset to their workplace. She’s a disappointment. |
