I rang for an appointment ad after nearly 40 minutes waiting on the phone I was asked by a receptionist (who is not medically qualified to diagnose treatment) what my symptoms were, so the NHS being what it is, I told her and she said no appointments were available for two weeks and to ring NHS 111. Baring in mind I haven't seen my GP in over a year. I rang 111 and they told me to go to A&E which I did and guess what, they ask me what I was doing there? I told them I rang the GP and !!! and they told me to come here to A&E to which they told me to get a referral from my GP. So back to square one and still no appointment. And yes the problem is still there and yes it is getting worse. |

I would like to thank Dr I Riaz for his continued support over the years with mine and my mothers health. My mother passed away recently and Dr I Riaz was there for me no matter what the time. His compassion through out was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for him. Dr I Riaz is an asset to Undercliffe Surgery and the medical profession. I would personally like to thank him from the bottom of my heart at thos difficult time. Regards Mr Jason Heaton |

I’ve been a patient here for about 10 years although rarely needed to see a GP until the last couple of years. I use online booking for my appointments and sign in on the electronic screen. This means I don’t have much interaction with the reception staff so can’t comment on them. I tend to book my appointments with the same Drs and find them to be really understanding and knowledgable. After a GP identified I had a more serious health issue than I thought, I received excellent and compassionate treatment; I’m very grateful it was noticed and investigated early. After that, I was diagnosed with a separate long term condition which I had no idea about; my symptoms weren’t typical so despite trying to understand what the problem was using NHS Choices, I would never have identified this condition as the potential cause. Again, I’m extremely grateful that the GP identified this and that I quickly started to feel a lot better with treatment. I find the online access extremely helpful and I like having access to test results online, along with the ability to order my repeat prescriptions. Overall, I find this surgery very convenient and the care I’ve received here has been excellent. |
