Truly awful. The wait for appointments is disgusting. Particularly for small children as only certain doctors can treat infants. Every time one of my children has needed to see the doctor in 2019 there's been a 6 week wait minimum for an appointment. There is a walk in clinic which is meant to be for urgent care. Its now being used for routine appointments as the wait for normal appointments is far too long. I've waited 2 hours several times with small children at this walk in clinic as we couldnt get a normal appointment. Then the doctor only has a 5 mins slot which isn't long enough to properly diagnose. People queue in Mytholmroyd from 7:30am outside the surgery in the rain in the hope of seeing a doctor. Its effectively a barrier to access for vulnerable groups who can't manage or can't face standing in queues and waiting in reception for hours. This surgery should be ashamed of the barriers they are putting in front of people trying to access their GP! They should also be ashamed, embarrassed, and shocked to see a queue of sick people outside their surgery in the mornings! |

Serious incident causing massive pain and incapacity, but managed to reset joint.
Got an appointment for next day, but only NP not a GP. Did not have experience in this matter. Suggested (!) Xray, but has to be GP authorised. Said would call me when sorted by 14.00 so could get a lift to Tod for xray before 16.00. No call back. Tried calling surgery to get message closed, (basically, tough). No indication of til when. Made 19 calls up to 18.00. 1. NP did not have enough experience to give me confidence. 2. Was not called back as promised. 3. Surgery closed to all calls, no clarity on when reopen, website said open, no service at all. Could not even leave message. 4. This box was full of text which had to painfully backscroll to delete. Hopeless. |

Absolutely terrible practice, I wouldn’t bother with it at all if you’re actually I’ll because you won’t get to see anyone. If you have a young baby do not rely on this practice to actually treat them, or even give them an appointment! We’ve been told to wait 6 weeks for an appointment for a 6 week old hold when as we all know they deteriorate fast. Practice manager is a even less agreeable and doesn’t take any situations or complaints seriously. Don’t waste your time basically |
